Airtek has extensive experience in providing complete air system cleaning for commercial properties and facilities including hospitals, commercial buildings, hotels, industrial facilities and marine air systems. Our services help extend the life of your equipment and help save on energy usage and costs over time.
The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) describes heating and cooling systems as the lungs of your building, taking air in and breathing air out. Essentially, the systems must work harder if there are contaminants or pathogens circulating in them, which shortens the life of your system. Although filters are used, the heating and cooling system still gets dirty through normal use.
When an HVAC system is clean, it doesn’t have to work as hard to maintain your preferred temperature so less energy is used, which can lead to improved cost-effectiveness. It also works in tandem with all the cleaning and sanitizing happening with other indoor surfaces and equipment to ensure the entire indoor environment is working together to provide the best indoor air quality possible.
Our AirTek 600V, 800V, 1000V, 1200V, 1200UVGI, 1600V and 2000V Hepa air filtration are variable speeds and are the most durable, powerful and versatile NAMs on the market. It is engineered to deliver powerful performance with the flexibility to meet any ICRA containment requirement. These products continue to be the leaders in the negative air machine space.
Ask us about the benefits of adding UV lights or Ionizers to your current systems or purchasing negative air machines.
Upgrading your air filtration system is a crucial step in protecting facilities and commercial buildings against the spread of the COVID-19 virus. A filter's MERV rating measures how efficiently it removes contaminants from the air stream based on the size of the particles it can effectively capture. The higher a filter's MERV rating is, the more effectively the filter traps small particles. Industry authorities such as the CDC and ASHRAE recommend an air filter with a minimum rating of MERV 13. MERV 14 is preferred. In some jurisdictions, MERV 13 is a mandatory condition that must be met.
